20% Off Teacher Appreciation Sale

 Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

Hi, Everybody!  Here at HeidiSongs, we know how hard you work and how much you care about your students and their success.  We also know how much (or how little) you are probably getting paid, LOL!  So this sale is for YOU, and ONLY you!  (In other words, this offer is for teachers using teacher money only, not for orders coming from school districts.)

So here’s the deal:  spend at least twenty dollars for anything on our site and you’ll get twenty percent off of your order.  Just use the coupon code teach20.  This offer expires on Sunday, May 12 (which is Mother’s Day!) at midnight.

Litchfield rolled out the welcome mat with signs around town for all of the Kindergarten teachers!

Meanwhile, I would like to give a shout out to the wonderful folks I met at the Minnesota Kindergarten Association Conference last weekend in Litchfield, MN!  I had SUCH a wonderful time!  Their board did an outstanding job organizing and putting the whole thing together.  They had a great group of vendors, some fun door prizes, lots of wonderful break out sessions, and myself, and Jim Gill also gave a children’s concert and a keynote presentation to the teachers in the afternoon when I was finished on Saturday.  Everybody in Minnesota is “Minnesota Nice!”

The town of Litchfield, MN is filled with beautiful, old buildings like this one.  It’s quaint and lovely!

I understand that they have the wonderful Deanna Jump of TPT fame presenting at their conference next year!  She is sure to draw a big crowd, so don’t forget to sign up right away once they start accepting registrations!  I don’t know when that will be, but watch their website for more details.

I love meeting “fans!”

It always makes me feel special when teachers that read my blog and have my products ask to take their picture with me!  I loved meeting and taking my picture with these two wonderful ladies, whose blogs are Live, Laugh, I love Kindergarten and  Learning with Mrs. Leeby.

I also found a wonderful resource there for new parents, called Let’s Talk Kids.  They have a website and a blog that helps parents know what they should be doing and how they should be interacting with their new babies and toddlers to help them grow up smart and strong!  They also sell kits and supplies to help parents get started down that road.  Their goal is to help parents get started off right with reading, talking to, and doing activities with their kids, so that their children may avoid that achievement gap that seems to pop up so often.

If you are a teacher and you have never been to a conference with your fellow teaching pals, you don’t know what you are missing!  It’s like a big teacher party after hours!  During the day, the shopping is fun, and it’s neat to see and hear about the new ideas.  Later, everyone goes out to dinner, and then people tend to stay up late- chatting, talking, eating, drinking, etc., etc., etc.!  It’s like that just about everywhere I go.  Think of it as a sort of weekend away with your friends.

Would you like to see bring me to your school to present?  It could happen!  Talk to your administrators about scheduling a staff development day for your Pre-K, K, and first grade teachers.  Give us a call or an email any time!
