TK Weekly Learning Packet SPRING BUNDLE: Weeks 1-4

This is a printable Distance Learning packet bundle for TK or Kindergarten, WEEKS 1-4! That's 4 weeks, perfect for March/April! Here you will find everything you need for one week of school for each packet, for TK for Math and Language Arts, and arts and crafts. We've included a variety of hands-on activities and worksheets, so you can use just part of it or all of it with your students! Theses packets can be used for both TK or Kinder, depending on your skill level of the students and needs. Worksheets and activities include practice with letter recognition and letter writing, rhyming, sight words, beginning sounds, counting, number writing, patterning, and scissor practice.

Themed games, worksheets, or art projects include:

• Week 1: St. Patrick's Day, Shamrocks, Leprechauns
• Week 2: Rainbows, clouds, weather
• Week 3: Bunnies, Easter Eggs, Hatching Chicks
• Week 4: Insects: butterfly, ladybug, bee, caterpillar

Directions & some templates for art projects are included, along with photos of each completed project. Please note that this packet is appropriate for either TK or Kindergarten, but can be used in Kindergarten depending on your class needs.

A list of recommended HeidiSongs music videos for the week is also included, and it links to our HeidiSongs internet video site. However, a subscription to our internet video streaming site is not included. You are welcome to eliminate this page as needed.

We've divided everything up by day of the week, (Monday-Friday) so you have the option of sending this entire packet to students, with everything labeled out on what to do each day! Permission is granted to distribute to families/students in your classroom. We've also included an editable Weekly Lesson Plan page, for those who may want to only include bits and pieces from our packet, or add in worksheets of their own. Each item in this packet is the very similar to the ones I would have done in the classroom. In fact, I am just using my lesson plans from both TK and K to create it!

In my (Heidi's) experiences, children in TK generally need much more time to learn, and even more developmentally appropriate, hands-on activities than are necessary for most children in Kindergarten.
