Here is another unique group of Hidden Words for your students to find and color, but these are hidden CVC words instead of sight words! Children use their visual discrimination, phonics, and reading skills to find the target CVC (consonant - vowel- consonant) word and color in the section that it is in. When finished correctly, the word itself is shown! Children LOVE this, and enjoy proudly showing off their finished papers. Kids have the option of coloring in the rest of the words or not at the teacher's discretion, allowing teachers to let this activity last a longer or shorter time as needed for classroom management purposes. These worksheets also make a great resource for homework or independent class time, since they are practically self checking. The word families covered in this set go along with the word families on CVC Volume 1.
Word Families Covered Are:
Short A (–at), (–an)
Short E (–eg), (–en), (–et)
Short I (–ig), (–in), (–ip), (–it)
Short O (–op), (–ot), (–ox)
Short U (–ug), (–ut), (–un)
