How can I use HeidiSongs for any online Distance Learning?

If you are distance learning and wish to share your HeidiSongs teaching videos via live stream, Google Meet, or Zoom type of meetings, you can use any of our music CDs, video DVDs, or your HeidiSongs online video account with your students. We encourage you to share your screen and have your kids sing and dance along as you would in your own classroom!

Question: I am a teacher and would like my students to have access to my HeidiSongs streaming account, is that possible? Yes, for this period of distance learning, we have reset our platform privileges to allow multiple sign-on access to a single streaming account. To do this, you only need to share your email & password with the student or parent, and they will be able to login and use the videos independently. But beware, sharing login credentials also shares access to your account information, which could disrupt your password and other features of your account, including cancelation! Be sure to review your account’s “Profile” information to make this judgement for yourself! If this is an issue, we also offer Single Sign-On or Classroom options for students and families! We do not have an easy way to download any of our DVD content to a computer or upload to public or private online platform.  We also do not have a digital download option for any of our video products. Our online videos are only accessible thru HeidiSongs Streaming platform and are a great option for distance learning. Be aware that our streaming accounts have a limit of  3 devices that can be logged into at one time.

Where can I find my Uscreen or Vimeo online video rental?

If you've purchased a HeidiSongs Uscreen online video rental or subscription for one of our video collections, you can access the video rental or subscription by going to our HeidiSongs UScreen site, https://heidisongs.uscreen.io. Enter the email and login information you used to create an account, and start watching your videos right away.

If you've purchased a Vimeo online video rental for one of our videos, you can access the video rental by going to www.Vimeo.com. Enter the email and login information you used to purchase the rental, and you can find the video under "Purchases" or the "Watch Later" queue.

If you have any issues accessing your account, or have technical troubles with the video rental, for HeidiSongs UScreen please contact us, and for Vimeo, please contact the Vimeo Help Center, and they'll be able to get you up and running again in no time!

My computer no longer has a DVD player?

Many computers no longer have built in disc/CD drives, but an inexpensive external drive will get you up and running again! Most external drives connect through the USB drive on the computer, so you just pop your disc into that external drive once it is connected to your computer, and it'll show up on your computer, just like a normal disc might. Check out one of these drives that utilize a simple USB connection from Amazon.

Can I get a video DVD or music CD as a download?

We currently have most of our music CD's available for download on the iTunes store, so downloading them to multiple platforms is rather easy. You can find them here: https://music.apple.com/us/artist/heidi-butkus/448324998
We are also on Spotify under the artist Heidi Butkus, if you are familiar with that music streaming platform.

Unfortunately, we don't have the technology or support system in place to offer our video DVD's in a downloadable format, but we have partnered with Uscreen to offer you streaming, on-demand videos of all our DVD's through monthly or yearly rentals, through HeidiSongs UScreen! For more information, check out our "Video on Demand" page in the information section of our website.

Can I use one of the HeidiSongs DVD's in my CD player to play the songs?

Unfortunately, this does not work. The way information is formatted, then written onto the DVD makes it incompatible with most CD players, unless your player is especially equipped to read both DVD and Audio CD formats. Consumer level CD players rarely have this feature, so it is unlikely to work in this fashion.

My DVD does not have buttons to play the movies, where are they?

Our Main Menu generally has two buttons, which are the text that reads, "Play All", and "Single Songs" or "Individual Songs", which both act as buttons and will direct you either to the start of the movie or the next Menu showing the individual songs. Here the song titles are clearly the buttons, and each will highlight when ready to trigger the movies to play. With television DVD players, you should be able to navigate between buttons with the arrow keys on your remote. On a Computer, you should be able to select the buttons directly with the mouse.

Is ordering from the HeidiSongs website secure?

Yes, we have recently updated our website to the very secure Shopify.com, which is one of the most reliable and secure systems available. Please note the secure https: link at the top of our checkout page, and the SSL Secured Global Sign certification that insurses your privacy and security.

I’m having trouble ordering from the HeidiSongs website, what other ways can I order?

If for any reason, you have trouble with our website or anything about your order does not make sense, you can call us at (909) 331-2090 to place an order or ask a question. We sometimes have trouble with the website and certain browsers have more quirks than others, so we’re happy to talk to you directly to answer questions or take your order.

We are available most business days from 8 am - 3 pm PST, and if we miss your call, we'll promptly call back, so feel free to leave a detailed message so that we can do any follow-up before we call you back.

We also receive faxes at (909) 592-2110 for School Purchase Orders, or any other questions you might feel more comfortable sending in written or printed format via the fax.  For School Purchase Orders, we also suggest sending an email, or calling us to confirm that we received your Purchase Order via fax.

Is there a limit to how many times I can print or use a download that I have purchased?

No, there is no limit to how many times you can print or use a download, as long as you are following our Copyright Policy.  The downloadable files can be saved to your computer, but we suggest also saving all of your HeidiSongs download files onto a USB flash drive (sometimes called a Thumb-Drive or Memory Stick).  It is a good idea to keep your files on such a device, for backup. The download link will expire after a certain number of clicks, or 30 days, so make sure to save them to your computer or USB drive before the link no longer works.

Can I duplicate my CD's and DVD's to share with my students or team?

No, duplication of our CD’s, DVD’s or any of our digital media is a violation of our Copyright Policy, as well as US Copyright Law. If you have need to provide our materials to multiple classrooms, grade-level or district teams, or large groups of students, please contact us for site license pricing and usage guidelines.

Where do I find my Printable Download and how do I open it file?

After checkout, you will receive an email with the subject line: Your HeidiSongs Printable Downloads Are Ready! The email message will contain an active link to take you to your printable download files. You can then download them immediately. Please be aware these links don't last forever, so please be sure to save the files to your computer hard drive (and to a USB flash drive for backup), so you can access them whenever you need them. For DVDs & Combos that include a Basic or Premium add on, the email with the download links included will be sent when the DVD is fulfilled and shipped.

If for any reason you have trouble with your download, just email us and we'll send you another link. If ordering on the weekends, Friday evenings thru Sunday evenings, we will respond once we are back in our office on Monday.

Most of our files are saved in the common .pdf file format and should be easy to open on most computers. If your computer does not have a .pdf reader application, you can download one from the Adobe website here.

Adobe Reader will allow you to view all downloaded .pdf files if you don’t have that functionality already available on your computer. Most modern computers do, but if you're experiencing unusual behavior when you try to open the file, or the file won't open at all, you may have an older version and you would benefit from an update. It's generally an easy thing to do, so check it out here.

We also use the common .zip format to compress large files or groups of multiple files, saving both storage space and downloading time. If you do not have a compatible archiving utility on your computer, the file may come up as a blank icon, or just do nothing when you click on it. Don’t panic, you just need the right application to perform this task.

There are many free utilities that perform this unzipping function, and are handy to have installed for just this use. Mac’s and PC’s often have this built in when you purchase a modern operating system, but if not, please check the links below:

Does HeidiSongs have a Copyright policy?

All HeidiSongs materials are Copyrighted and are protected by Copyright Laws. In light of recent COVID-19 and distance learning, HeidiSongs is allowing teachers to film themselves “performing” or singing and dancing along to our videos and sharing those with your students/parents. The main subject of these videos have to be the performer, and cannot be our videos. HeidiSongs does not allow filming or screen recording of our videos and uploading them to any platform or sharing or selling for any use.

How can I return or exchange a product or order?

What different payment methods can I use when checking out?

When you are finished shopping and ready to pay, in Your Bag/Your Cart, click Checkout. Double check the items and quantities in your cart are correct, and click Checkout.

You will have a few different options: Express Checkout allows you to checkout with ShopPay, PayPal, or Amazon Pay. ShopPay, PayPal, & Amazon Pay will all pop up a window to log into those sites for express checkout. If nothing pops up, the web browser settings may be blocking the any pop ups from happening, and you will need to allow our site to allow the pop ups to show. Once you sign into one of those three options, click continue and you will be brought back to our site to complete the order. Choose your shipping method, add any discount codes if applicable and hit apply. Then, click "Continue to Payment". Confirm the billing and shipping method, and click "Complete Order", and you are all set!

If you do not want to use Express Checkout, simply fill out the Shipping information, click "Continue to Shipping" and choose your shipping method, and add any discount codes if applicable and hit apply. Fill out your payment information, and click "Complete Order", and you are all set!
